OPAC Search

Instead of having several large search computers occupying room in the library space, Inlead’s search solution OPAC search lets library visitors browse through the collection via tablets and touchscreens. Here you can see what the touchscreen keyboard looks like, and in the background you can see an example of a search result. Users can search through the library collection via a free text search that can be narrowed down by adding specified search terms. The most popular searches are displayed at the top of the screen and additional functions such as reservations, reviews and other serendipity features are offered as well – as with the Mail Shelf feature found in Digital Shelves.
